Q. My MT4 is displaying an “Invalid Account” error. I’m confused. What do I do?

A. Try logging into your account again. There is the possibility that you entered incorrect info on your first attempt- either your account number or your password. If you have any issues with your password, please go back to check the email that was sent to you on your registration. 

Q. I got my password, but MT4 is still displaying “Invalid account”. What do I do?

A. Try again. But this time notes that MT4 is case sensitive so pay attention to the technicalities of your password while you enter it. Use the caps lock when you have to. It will solve the problem in no time.

Q. What time does my MT4 display?

A. You must have noticed that the time displayed on your MT4 is sometimes 3 hours ahead of the GMT, then at other times only 2 hours ahead. This is because your Metatrader 4 displays the time as Eastern European Time (EET). During daylight-savings time, the EET is 3 hours ahead of the GMT while in winter, during standard time, the Eastern European Time is only 2 hours ahead. 

Q. How do I change my MT4 password for my real trading account?

A. You can change your Metatrader 4 password under your trading accounts/account overview section of your MT4 program.

Q. What can I do when I forgot my password for my demo trading account?

A. Go back to the confirmation mail you received when you set up your demo account. You should obtain your account info here. This includes your account number and your password.
