Analyst

An “Analyst” in the trading space is a person whose job is in finance, has expertise in evaluating investments and has the necessary background in the finance profession to make informed buy, sell and hold recommendations for their clients.

Often brokers will have a “head analyst” giving market insights to news outlets for added “press”, “public relations” (PR) and brand awareness.

In short, an “analyst” is a person whose job is in finance, who has expertise in evaluating investments and has the necessary background in the finance profession to make informed buy, sell and hold recommendations for their clients.
