FAQ

Comparison FAQ

Can I compare any two brokers or prop firms?

Yes. Every broker and prop firm in our directory is in the dropdowns, so you can compare any two: two brokers, two prop firms, or a broker against a prop firm. The data is normalised to the same rows so the comparison is always apples to apples.

What if I want a third option?

Pick the two you are deciding between first. When a third one is worth checking, swap it into either side with the dropdown and the table updates instantly. If you are deciding across more than two, check the full side-by-side tables on our broker and prop firm index pages.

Where does the data come from?

The same data we use for our reviews: spreads, minimum deposits, leverage, regulation, and platforms come from our broker database, verified at the source. Prop firm funding, splits, and US acceptance come from the firms' published terms. Read the full review for the honest verdict on each.

Why is my broker showing "n/a" for a row?

If a value is missing, the broker or firm does not publish that figure, or it does not apply to their model (for example, commission on a spread-only account). Treat "n/a" as "not applicable or not disclosed", not "free".

Is the higher rating always the better choice?

No. Our overall score balances fees, safety, platforms, and support, but "best" depends on who you are. A higher-rated broker can still be the wrong fit if it does not accept your country or does not offer the platform you use. Use the comparison for facts, then read the fit advice in the reviews.
