Stake Black FX fee reduced to 0.50% for USD/AUD conversions

Stake has cut the foreign exchange fee on its premium Stake Black tier to 0.50% for USD/AUD conversions. The reduction applies to all US stock and ETF trades for Stake Black subscribers, bringing the FX cost meaningfully below the standard account rate of 0.70%.

Stake Black is Stake's premium membership tier, priced at $9 AUD per month. In addition to the lower FX rate, Black members get priority customer support and early access to new features. The standard brokerage commission of $3 AUD per US trade remains unchanged across both tiers. ASX trades continue at $3 AUD flat with CHESS sponsorship — Stake's shares are held in the investor's name directly on the ASX register. Stake is regulated by ASIC (AFS Licence 503 723).
