Crypto Exchange Comparison FAQ
Can I compare any two crypto exchanges?
Yes. All nine exchanges in our crypto directory are in the dropdowns, so you can compare any two: Coinbase vs Kraken, Binance vs Bitget, or a regulated broker-style exchange against a decentralised venue like Hyperliquid. The data is normalised to the same rows so the comparison stays apples to apples.
What if I want a third option?
Pick the two you are deciding between first. When a third one is worth checking, swap it into either side with the dropdown and the table updates instantly. For the full ranked list, browse the crypto exchanges directory.
Where does the data come from?
The same data we use for our exchange reviews: trading fees, minimum deposits, coin selection, regulation, payment methods, and US access come from our exchange database, verified against each platform's published terms. Read the full review for the honest verdict on each.
Why is an exchange showing "n/a" for a row?
If a value is missing, the exchange does not publish that figure, or it does not apply to their model (for example, fixed leverage on a spot-only venue, or a platform list on a fully on-chain exchange). Treat "n/a" as "not applicable or not disclosed", not "free".
Is the higher rating always the better choice?
No. Our score balances fees, safety, coin selection, and usability, but "best" depends on who you are. A higher-rated exchange can still be the wrong fit if it blocks your country, has no fiat on-ramp, or does not list the coin you want. Use the comparison for facts, then read the fit advice in the reviews.
