The rebrand marks a strategic shift from a traditional exchange to a broader Web3 ecosystem, focusing on enhanced user experience, increased security, and global compliance following their 12th anniversary.

Key changes: the platform is now officially known as Gate; the primary website is Gate.com; a new, modern logo replaced the old Gate.io branding. The move signifies a push toward becoming a comprehensive Web3, blockchain, and financial ecosystem rather than just a trading platform. The rebrand includes a unified brand identity across global entities such as Gate Dubai and Gate Japan, with a new Chinese name, "Damen" (大門), meaning "The Gate". Note: European entities under Gate Technology Ltd have separately rebranded to the "Gate.io" name in early 2025 to signify compliance with local regulations — a parallel branding effort for that region.
